MASSIVE DECREASE IN NZ SMOKING RATES OVER LAST 12-MONTHS
Interim Financial Statements of the Government of New Zealand for the seven months ended 31 January 2021 show Tobacco excise and duty revenues declined by 48% compared to the previous period.
This indicates that New Zealand’s cigarette consumption has likely had the biggest annual decline ever!
Lion Labs believes it is no coincidence that this has coincided with the increase in access to vaping products that are regarded as at least 95% less harmful by Public Health England.
